In July, the price of groceries was up 3% over the previous 12 months. And in one June survey of North Carolinians, 58% of respondents said groceries were “unaffordable.” Yet among us, there are smart shoppers who use coupons, discounts and loyalty programs to stretch their dollars and get the best deals at the grocery store.
