Raleigh Police Chief Rico Boyce said two people were shot outside the Wake County Courthouse shortly after 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 22. Both victims were involved in a court case with the suspected shooter, who became “belligerent” and left the courthouse, Boyce said. Raleigh police later identified the suspected shooter as Gwendolyn White, 57. She has been charged with attempted murder.
